Según el tiempo que llevas en "la escena", lo más probable es que hayas visto este Beetle Turbo S en persona. Originalmente construido a fines de la década de 2000, el propietario se propuso construir un Beetle de la forma en que lo haría RUF Automobile GmbH, si hubieran tenido la oportunidad. El resultado fue algo salvaje, pero extremadamente sutil.
En el exterior, el "RUF BUG" ha visto una gran cantidad de toques inspirados en RUF, incluyendo ruedas, frenos e insignias genuinas de RUF. El tema también se transmite al interior, con asientos Recaro Sportster CS personalizados, volante RUF y perilla de cambio, manijas de aluminio billet, controles de espejo, perillas HVAC y más. Y debido a que un verdadero auto RUF no es solo un ejercicio estético, el Turbo S ha sido actualizado con el software APR junto con otras modificaciones diseñadas para aprovechar al máximo el 1.8T del Beetle, así como los bits de suspensión del mercado secundario para ayudar en las curvas.
El RUF Beetle Turbo S está actualmente a la venta en Jacksonville, Craigslist de Florida por $ 33,780.
